CrepeAffaire at The Hippodrome

Welcome to the latest food review, today we’re taking a trip to Leicester Square to indulge in some mouthwatering crêpes at Crêpeaffaire, located in the heart of theatre land. Today, just so happens to be Shrove Tuesday, making it the perfect day to enjoy a delicious pancake, and boy, did I get lucky with my visit!

If you're looking for a meal or snack to enjoy before heading to a show, Crêpeaffaire offers a variety of sweet and savory crêpes that are perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Whether you're a fan of pancakes or not, the menu offers something for everyone, including all-day breakfast, pastries, and excellent coffee.

I decided to try the popular Oreo Cookie crêpe with Belgian chocolate, whipped cream, and of course, crumbled Oreos on top. It was heavenly! If you’re in the mood for something savory, don’t worry, there are plenty of options to choose from, such as Le Goat Deluxe with red onion, goat's cheese, and spinach, or the mouthwatering Hunters Chicken sprinkled with tangy cheddar. There are even vegetarian options like the Avocado Superveg and Pesto Formagio. Each crêpe is made fresh to order, designed to make the most of the ingredients, and presented beautifully.

This is a great place to take the kids, as they can watch their crêpes being made right in front of them, adding to the excitement. There are also plenty of decadent milkshakes on offer, including vegan options and even some with alcohol, such as Baileys or rum.
