Salesforce, the world's leading CRM provider, has launched a new cloud service that enables its global customers to store and process their data in the European Union.
The new service, called the Hyperforce EU Operating Zone, will provide Salesforce customers with 24/7 technical support from EU-based personnel, combining Salesforce's industry-leading products with data storage services, including zero-trust principles and encryption keys.
The Hyperforce EU Operating Zone is built on Salesforce's trusted cloud platform, Hyperforce, which allows customers to securely deploy Salesforce apps and services from anywhere while using the scale and agility of the public cloud. The new service will give customers increased control over their data and the ability to access it when, where, and how they intend to.
According to Ed Britan, Head of Global Privacy at Salesforce, the company's strategy is focused on helping customers meet their business objectives while addressing their regulatory risk. The Hyperforce EU Operating Zone will provide an enhanced level of data residency commitment, ensuring that Salesforce customers can keep their data within the EU, giving them the choice and control they need.
Hyperforce is currently live in 12 countries globally and will launch in four additional locations by the end of 2023, as Salesforce continues to expand its global footprint.
